What period products can I use?

There are a variety of products available to use when you have your period, which either absorb or collect the blood. Tampons and pads absorb blood while menstrual cups collect blood. Tampons are small tubes that are placed inside the vagina, which act as a type of stopper to absorb the blood. Pads are stuck onto your underwear and absorb the blood too. You get reusable and disposable pads. The menstrual cup is a small bowl-shaped device that fits snugly inside your vagina and collects the blood. They are usually reusable – you simply empty them, wash, and use again.

The walls of your vagina hold the menstrual cups and tampons in place, so you can hardly feel them and they don’t move around either.
