What is Puberty?

When a child begins a process of physical changes and becomes sexually mature and able to reproduce, it is called puberty. Males begin to create sperm, usually via night-time emissions, otherwise known as wet dreams. Females begin to ovulate (produce eggs) and menstruate. Secondary changes also occur, for example, the testicles and breasts grow, and pubic hair appears.
